Pleasure to meet you,
My name is Edna Alberto and I am the founder and owner of Santos River. I am currently an active duty service member living in Japan with my husband Miguel and son Santitos. After dedicating several years of my life solely to the military I had my son. Very quickly I realized I wanted something different; more flexibility, so I started looking for a new path in my life. Like many parents; finding inspiration behind their children I created Santos River.
My son Santitos was a chunky baby with thick thighs and I found that other bamboo brands had see through material and very tight fitting rompers around the arm and leg area to include the crotch area, we cloth diaper and the fit was very snug that it made me uneasy. I took it upon myself to create bamboo clothing with a little more inclusive sizing but still fitting the saftey requirements. I am excited for this journey, I am dreaming big and I hope you stick around.
